Management Team

Mary Hanawalt,

Chief Executive Officer, NSTN

Mary Hanawalt is the owner of Creative Information Group, a software development company. She has extensive experience in developing software solutions for the telematics industry. Additionally, she is well versed in serving other sectors of the business community with applications that address integration of dissimilar software systems. Her experience in building and supporting software applications includes business services, release of information, residential services, fleet management, land mobile radio, and point-of-sale systems.


Brenda Jorgensen,

Officer and Corporate Secretary

Brenda Jorgensen is a California native. She started her communications/technical career in 1997 and never looked back. She worked at the combined companies of PageNet, Arch Wireless, USA Mobility, and Spok. Her experience led her to being the Regional Wireless Product Manager - a technical expert called on to assist with high profile proposals and implementations. She was the top performer in this position company-wide. She led regional technical sales trainings and later took over a large swath of the west coast to manage a communications sales team which far exceeded goals and expectations. She now uses her expertise to help with the designing, implementation, and financing of technical projects and equipment


Phyllis B. Kerk,

Corporate Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer

Phyllis Kerk is a 35+ year veteran of financial and management capability in the healthcare industry with Medicare and related regulatory expertise in managed healthcare financial and auditing while at United Healthcare and Pacificare of California before that. Having retired from that industry she is now CFO of Enterprise Electronics with Novexcomm and All Day Electronics financial management day to day work currently, she recently joined Henry Radio Network and PTTSTAR, LLC also in as CFO.

Technical Team

Robert L. Burchett,

CTO

Robert L. “Bob” Burchett is the owner of Enterprise Electronics, Novexcomm and All Day Electronics for 50+ years, Bob holds 2 patents; the primary one for NSTN is the proprietary Transit Cell Phone Detection and Alerting System which provides information and alerts to the NSTN-affiliated Creative Information Group’s tracking, monitoring and reporting engine central to passenger rail protection. This combination of products is the core of offerings to NSTN to provide critical information to authorities for analysis. Bob is a Certified Communications Engineer holding multiple FCC licenses and a licensed ham radio operator. Bob is a licensed contractor registered with the State of California.


Peter W. Moncure

Spectrum Manager

Peter is a New York native, Fulbright Scholar and Communications Industry professional. He has built AM, FM, TV, Land Mobile, Paging and Mobile Telephone stations, consulted for Pacific Gas & Electric’s major radio system overhaul as well as with Norfolk Southern, CSX and the Association of American Railroads for many years. He founded RadioSoft, whose software is now in use by all major networks, the Federal Communications Commission, and many military and Governmental Entities. He’s a licensed FCC Engineer and Ham radio operator, a Fellow of the Radio Club of America and member of many trade organizations.


Keith Simonsen,

Telephony Implementation Officer

Keith Simonsen is the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Adaptconn, Inc., an emergency communication services company in Southern California. As CTO, Keith is responsible for overseeing critical SATCOM networks for first responders, government agencies and corporations with global footprints. Keith's strategy utilizes multiple resource types, including fixed and mobile VSAT (Ku, Ka), L-band services, Radio over IP and VoIP to provide clients with the communications tools to seamlessly ensure continuity of their operations. Keith's technical leadership has translated to years of successful client projects.


Rick Kahn,

Cellular Integration

When Khan completed his computer education, he decided to own and operate his own business. Following the company opening, Khan placed a single ad for his services on a local newspaper, and the rest is Micro Trends history! The corporation steadily grew and continues to thrive 35 years later.

Currently, Micro Trends services include cloud computing, managed services, and the 3CX telecommunication system. Through Kahn’s commitment to quality and integrity of service, Micro Trends has been able to maintain long lasting relationships with businesses.


Peter Karl Von Hagen

Mr. Von Hagen was born and raised in Los Angeles, graduated:  Harvard 1957, then University of Southern California in 1964, with a BA in Psychology. US Army Signal Corps, 4th Infantry Division. '60 -'62.

Was DRE Licensed Real Estate Agent 1976 – 2021, worked 45 Years with DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services specializing in Industrial and Land sales. Also owns and operates Von Hagen Development Company.

His father, Karl O. Von Hagen, M.D. was Chief Surgeon for both the Santa Fe and Union Pacific Railroads.
